Susanne’s multicultural insight comes from being born in Houston to a Chinese father and German mother. She developed a strong work ethic early in life by being put to work at a young age in their grocery store and later in their printing and office supplies company.  She first came to Austin to study at the University of Texas and happily returned in 1991 when her husband joined IBM and they were relocated from Pittsburgh. 

 

Prior to real estate, Susanne worked at Dell in sales and project management for 12 years.  Her strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills combined with an ability to perform with grace under pressure have served her clients well in buying and selling their homes.  According to one client, “Susanne is wildly knowledgeable about Austin real estate. She's honest, ethical, accountable and fun. We had a wonderful experience with her and are delighted to now consider her a friend”.

 

Susanne is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoys the diverse Austin music scene, from blues at Antone’s to the choral sensations of Conspirare.  Susanne’s husband, Larry, manages his own chip design consulting company. Their daughter, Emily, is in the first class of the Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School. They love their Tarrytown neighborhood and can often be found walking to Triangle Park with their two dogs.
